Original Designation: Let kampuniformsjakke T/99, ørken

Translated Designation: Light combat jacket T/99, desert

History: This uniform is made of a desert version of the M/84 pattern. The light green of the M/84 pattern has been replaced by dark green, dark green by tan and black by earth brown.

Use: This jacket was introduced when Danish troops were sent to the cease fire line between Ethiopia and Eritrea (UNMEE) in 2000. The troops belonged to SHIRBRIG (the UN Stand-By Forces High Readinees Brigade).

Camouflage pattern: A 3 colour "spotted pattern": Tan, earth brown and dark green

Other Information: The overall configuration of the uniform is the same as the "Balkan jacket" and is made of the same ripstop material (90 % cotton and 10 % polyamid)
